So recently, my charger has been acting up, and after a number of encounters, it broke. I will describe the whole story...
The laptop I have now is fairly old, maybe from 2007 or something. Its OS isn't even updated anymore, and various internal errors plague me every time I use it. Not to mention that its statistics are very low. 2 GB RAM, 1.7 GHz, dual-core, Mobile Intel GL960 Express Chipset (not sure if this is its GPU), Intel Pentium...
After years of use, the AC adapter began to act up, adding to my computer components' issues. Only recently this year, but certain adjustments had to be made to the position of the adapter in order for it to work properly. Soon, I was forced to bend part of the adapter right next to the head that connected into the laptop. A month passed with no further problems. Suddenly, I found that, unwrapping the rubber tape holding the bend together, the heat from the wires had melted the insulation and also burnt part of itself as well. I had to do even more slight adjustments and spark-signaled connections in order to get the charger working. I moved the computer around less frequently. On a certain day, I had no choice but to move the computer and adapter. No problems there, but moving it back into my room... The wires failed to generate a charging current. The sparks flew, but the charge could not be found.
The End
1. I need a new adapter
2. I'm temporarily using a different computer which is unable to use Java and Flash, for whatever reason.
