DayZ is a mod for Arma II: Combined Operations, that turns it from RTSFPS to sandbox from hell. Your only goal is to stay alive, by managing your thirst, hunger, and health through what you can scavenge throughout the wasteland. The game is played on servers with up to 50 other players, who usually won't think twice about killing you and stealing your can of beans. Once you're dead, you get to start over from scratch; you'll repeat this many times. The mod offers a wide range of gameplay, and videos are the best way to show them off:

I would prefer a helicopter to a car. Helicopters take a shitload of fuel, are hard to drive, and are harder to acquire and repair in general. I'd stick with a land vehicle. |
